Museum Night will take place on the first Friday in February!

The house opens at 18:00 with coffee, chocolate and a relaxed atmosphere. We will have board games in the music department and a sewing workshop will be available on the 2nd floor, where members of the Home Team will be on hand. A workshop for the younger generation will run from 18:15 to 19:45, suitable for little fingers who want to have a go at sewing. Materials provided.

At 19:30, the band LEA will take to the stage, formed by friends Katrín, Lára and Ella, who met at secondary school through music and have been making music together ever since. Their music is inspired by indie pop and folk music, with an emphasis on personal and lyrical lyrics. They draw inspiration for their songwriting from the people around them and the beautiful nature of their homeland. Two members of the band, Katrín and Lára, will be playing the guitar and singing new and older songs for passers-by.

At 20:10, a workshop and assistance for experienced designers and craftspeople begins in the sewing workshop – and everyone gets the opportunity to try their hand at crafts from the world of historical dressmaking, under the guidance of Hugrún Óskar, master tailor.

There will also be a record market on the lower level of the music department, as we continue to put gems into the hands of new owners, both records, CDs and books!

The house closes at 22:00
