A large number of applications were received for plots in Ásland 4.
The application deadline for 65 detached house plots and 12 terraced house plots in the first phase of Hafnarfjörður's newest development, Ásland 4, expired on Friday, 11 November. Applications and supporting documents are now being reviewed, and it is planned that the applications will be ready for the draw next week.

The application deadline for 65 detached house plots and 12 terraced house plots in the first phase of Hafnarfjörður's newest development, Ásland 4, expired on Friday, 11 November.
A total of 144 individuals and 11 legal entities applied for the detached house plots. For the terraced house plots, applications were received from 116 legal entities, and many applicants applied for more than one plot. The review of applications and supporting documents is now underway, and it is planned that the applications will be ready for the draw next week.
The dates for the draw and selection meeting will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
In the allocation of detached house plots, individuals have priority and applicants with valid applications will be ranked in numerical order by a draw conducted by a representative of the District Commissioner for the Capital Region. They will be given the opportunity to select a plot at a selection meeting in that order, in accordance with Article 5 of the General Rules of the City of Hafnarfjörður on the Allocation of Plots and Sale of Building Rights.
The dates for the draw and selection meeting will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
