A musical Christmas with 2 divas and 200 students
For the second year running, the Hafnarfjörður Music School will be staging a major concert in collaboration with well-known musicians from Hafnarfjörður. This year, it is the singers Guðrún Árný and Margrét Eir, who are both based in Hafnarfjörður. The two concerts, under the title Tónajól, will be held on 8 December at the Sports Hall on Strandgata.

The programme for Tónajól includes various Christmas songs, some in new arrangements by teachers at
Hafnarfjörður Music School. The school has nearly 600 students, and many of them...
their participation in the many and varied bands that operate at the school.
There they mention a symphony orchestra, a brass band, a percussion ensemble, a guitar ensemble,
clarinet choir and flute choir. Also, students from the vocal department and
piano department and an older group from pre-school. More than two hundred students perform at
