The formal partnership between the City of Hafnarfjörður and Hljóma began as a pilot project a year ago, and a decision has been made to continue for another year in light of the project's satisfaction and success. Hljóma provides music therapy for children and young people facing a variety of challenges, giving them the opportunity to access and enjoy music on their own terms. The youngest pupil is 2 years old and the oldest is 18.

Over the years, Inga has collected a wide range of musical instruments, both traditional ones and a diverse collection of custom-made instruments tailored to the needs of individuals with various challenges.
