„That's brilliant,“ says Jean Antoine Posocco, who designed the elves that have been in the Christmas Village since 2014. He made the first sketches of the lads in 2002 and they appeared in a comic book in 2005. Jean Antoine's Christmas lads are an integral part of the Christmas Village every year and it will be fun to see the children collecting the clues.
„Like others who move to the country, I found it strange that there were 13 Yule Lads here, and as a cartoonist, I wanted to create a fun fantasy world with them,“ he says. Jean's roots are Italian; he comes from Chambéry in the French Alps and has lived in Iceland for over forty years, where he has started a family and worked as a cartoonist all his life.
The treasure hunt was designed by Hönnunarhúsið and Guðni Gíslason, editor of Fjarðarfréttir, for the entire town of Hafnarfjörður. As people know, his treasure hunts have been a great success here in Hafnarfjörður over the years.
