Hafnarfjörður 2020, children's author Bergrún Íris Sævarsdóttir, came bearing gifts
Attended a meeting with the nursery headteacher recently and visited all the nursery's departments.
The Hafnarfjörður book gift, a total of 170 books. It is the sincere wish of the town artist.

Two books as a gift for all departments of Hafnarfjörður's nursery school. 

The town artist's book gift contains two books. The other
The book is The Night Animals, but it is accompanied by gentle music by Ragnheiður Gröndal. The book
is about the siblings Luna and Noah who know little that's more fun than playing
together, and also at night. With the help of Professor Dagbjart, they discover
the wonderfully fun dreamland where they can jump and bounce in cloud cities
but still woken up well-rested. The other book, Roar, is by Eva Rún Þorgeirsdóttir with
watercolour paintings by Bergrún Íris, the city artist. Ró contains simple exercises for children.

The 2020 Artist in Residence of Hafnarfjörður was unveiled last
on the winter day last 24th April. Bergrún Íris, a children's author and
a cartoonist, has in recent years gained a good reputation for his books,
both at home and abroad, and not least for lively, sincere and
