Hafnarfjörður's 2020 Artist in Residence, children's author Bergrún Íris Sævarsdóttir, recently visited the heads of the city's nurseries bearing gifts, presenting all of their departments with a total of 170 books.

Two books as a gift for all departments of Hafnarfjörður's nursery school. 

The town artist's book gift contains two books. The other
The book is The Night Animals, but it is accompanied by gentle music by Ragnheiður Gröndal. The book
is about the siblings Luna and Noah who know little that's more fun than playing
together, and also at night. With the help of Professor Dagbjart, they discover
the wonderfully fun dreamland where they can jump and bounce in cloud cities
but still woken up well-rested. The other book, Roar, is by Eva Rún Þorgeirsdóttir with
watercolour paintings by Bergrún Íris, the city artist. Ró contains simple exercises for children.
