Amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025 and the Detailed Plan for Suðurhöfn, Fornubúðir 5
Proposals for an amendment to the 2013-2025 Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður regarding the relocation of high-voltage power lines at Hamranes, and an amendment to the Master Plan and detailed plan of Suðurhöfn, will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Environment- and Planning Services at Norðurhóll 2, from 27.08. – 08.10.2018.
Amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025
The Hafnarfjörður Town Council, at its meeting on 22 August 2018, approved the publication of the submitted proposal, dated 08.08.2018, to amend the 2013-2025 Master Plan for Hafnarfjörður, concerning the relocation of a high-voltage power line at Hamranes, and that the matter shall be processed in accordance with Article 31 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.
Amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025
The Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved the proposed amendment to the 2013-2025 master plan at its meeting on 22 August 2018. 08.08.2018, to an amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025 and that the procedure shall be in accordance with Article 31 of the Planning Act 123/2010. The amendment consists of making the provisions for the South Harbour, a harbour area (land use category H), more detailed.
Change to the detailed plan for Suðurhöfn, Hafnarfjörður – Fornubúðir 5
The Hafnarfjörður Town Council approved the proposed plan, dated 10.08.2018, to the detailed plan for Suðurhöfn in Hafnarfjörður, concerning the plot at Fornubúðir 5. It was also agreed that the procedure would be in accordance with Article 41 of the Planning Act 123/2010. The amendment to the detailed plan consists of a change in wording in the explanatory statement to align with an amendment to the explanatory statement of the Master Plan for Hafnarfjörður 2013-2025, and the amendments to both the Master Plan and the detailed plan are being advertised concurrently, see 2. paragraph 2 of Article 41 of the Planning Act 123/2010.
The proposals will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Customer Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Environmental and Planning Services, Norðurhellu 2, from 27 August to 8 October 2018.

Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the proposals, which must be submitted in writing to the Environmental and Planning Services of Hafnarfjörður Municipality no later than 8 October 2010. Those who do not submit objections to the change within the specified deadline will be deemed to have consented to it.
