Change to the detailed plan for Suðurgata – Hamarsbraut
The Hafnarfjörður Town Council, on behalf of the Town Assembly, approved amendments to the detailed plan for Suðurgata-Hamarsbraut on 12 July 2018. The proposal was advertised in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 41 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

Comments were received and a response from the local council has been sent to those who made them. The detailed plan has been approved with the amendment that the new plot at 46 Suðurgata is removed. In its place, a car park and a green area will be provided on the plot. The plan provides for up to 15 dwellings at 44 Suðurgata. The amendment was published in the B-series of the Government Gazette on 18 December 2018. The decision of the municipal council can be appealed to the appeals board.
