Apollo – an arts festival for young people in Hafnarfjörður 2023
The Appoló Arts Festival begins on 20 October at the Hamra Youth Centre, and this year offers eight fantastic workshops. The workshops are for 16-25 year-olds and are free of charge for all participants. Registration is now open.

The Appoló Arts Festival begins on 20 October at the Hamra Youth Centre, and this year offers eight fantastic workshops. The workshops are for 16-25 year-olds and are free for all participants. Each course is limited to 15 young people, so those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible. The Appolo arts festival, held for the second time in Hafnarfjörður this year, is organised for and by young people in Hafnarfjörður.
The eight workshops are as follows:
- SONGWRITING WORKSHOP with Rakel Björk (22nd and 29th October from 12-16)
- Creative Writing with Bergrún Íris (22nd October and 4th November from 17:00-19:00)
- DJ COURSE with DJ Dóra Júlia (23rd October from 17:30-21:00)
- RAPP course with Króli (1st, 3rd and 6th November from 17:30-20:30)
- Computer Music & Production with Ingimar Tryggvason (4th and 5th November from 12-16)
- Crochet Course with Kristjana from Hringlandi (Mon 30th October, 17:30-20:30)
- Self-Empowerment Course with Junior Sanchez / taught in English (Sat 18 Nov & Sun 19 Nov, 11:00-16:00)
- Cooking Course (Sun 19 Nov, 17:00-20:00)
