Artist in Residence of Hafnarfjörður
On the last day of winter, 19th April, the City of Hafnarfjörður will appoint the City Artist of Hafnarfjörður for 2017. Applications or well-reasoned nominations are invited, and the deadline for submissions is 1st February.
On the 19th of April, the last day of winter, the City of Hafnarfjörður will appoint the City Artist of Hafnarfjörður for the year 2017. Only practising artists with permanent residency in Hafnarfjörður are eligible for the award, based on their registered address for the last 12 months.
Applications or substantiated recommendations are invited, which the Cultural and Tourism Committee will take into consideration when selecting the Town Artist. Applications and recommendations must be submitted on the designated forms, which are available on the City of Hafnarfjörður's website.
The 2017 Artist in Residence of Hafnarfjörður receives one million krónur.
The deadline for submission is 1 February.
