Áslandsskóli wins the Financial Literacy Games 2021
The Year 10 class of Áslandskóli emerged victorious in this year's Fjármálaleikir (Financial Games) by Fjármálavit, receiving 150,000 króna in prize money and a travelling trophy. On this occasion, Minister of Education Lilja Alfreðsdóttir visited the students, gave a short speech and presented the class with the prize.

The students decided to donate half of this amount to charity and, following an election, it was decided to give the Alzheimer's Association of Iceland a grant of 75,000 krónur. Truly brilliant representatives of the school community in Hafnarfjörður.
