It is a new initiative in the primary schools of Hafnarfjörður that all pupils receive
porridge, free of charge for parents every morning. In addition, is offered
Fruit subscription for all primary school pupils.

The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður provides primary school pupils with educational materials free of charge. Schools have therefore purchased stationery that pupils need for their schoolwork. This means pupils will receive notebooks, pens, folders and other such items they need for their daily schoolwork, in addition to textbooks, which have always been provided free of charge.
