The Fourth Carnival in Hafnarfjörður
The bouncy castle at Víðistaðatún was the first in Hafnarfjörður, opening at the start of summer 2019. The bouncy castle at Óla Run tún was opened in the summer of 2020, and one in Setberg at the start of summer 2021. The new adventure playground in Völlunum, Hafnarfjörður, is therefore the fourth. This means that four adventure playgrounds have been installed in Hafnarfjörður in just two years, in different neighbourhoods across the town. The expansion is in line with the wishes of the town's residents.

Changed opening hours from 1 September
During the summer, the bags are open from 9 am to 10 pm every day of the week. From 1st September, the bags are open from 9 am to 8 pm every day until the frost sets in. The policy is to keep the pods open for as long as possible, in line with the current curfews which are in effect from 1 September to 1 May. During this period, children aged 12 and under must not be outside after 8 p.m., and children aged 13 to 16 must not be outside after 10 p.m. The bouncy castles are closed during the winter months or once it starts to freeze.
