On Flensburg School's birthday, 1 October, the Headspace Bergið was presented with a grant of 400,000. – kr. All proceeds from this year's Flensburg Run, which took place on 17 September, went to Bergið, and the grant will be used to provide advice and support to young people up to the age of 25. The Healthy City of Hafnarfjörður sponsored the Flensborgarhlaup and thereby The Berg with 100,000 kr.

The aim of Bergið is to offer a low-threshold service with an emphasis on support, education and advice. Bergið is designed to create a pleasant and safe environment for young people who want to receive assistance from professionals and service users with diverse experience. The professionals at Bergið provide individualised advice and services to young people with the aim of improving their well-being, enhancing their participation and knowledge, and strengthening their connection with the community. Bergið aims to be a leading force in developing services for young people, based on the perspectives of young people themselves.
