Bright days in Hafnarfjörður will continue throughout the summer.
The Bjartir dagar cultural festival is approaching, a celebration that reflects the diverse cultural life of Hafnarfjörður. In a normal year, this first festival of its kind in the country runs for five days, but it has been decided that the festival, which begins on the last day of winter with the selection of a Hafnarfjörður town artist, the presentation of cultural grants and a summer concert by students, will run throughout the summer and serve as the highlight of the diverse festivities. Accordingly, funding for initiative projects has been increased, and all interested parties are encouraged to apply for micro-grants for events and entertainment during the 2021 Summer Days.

an opportunity to enjoy art and culture. All visitors are encouraged to respect
crowd limits, two-metre distancing rules, taking individual circumstances into account
protective measures and use face masks where appropriate. It can be assumed that regular items
at the town festival will take place later this summer when the environment and conditions
