Candidacy deadline for local elections
The Returning Officer will be based in the meeting room of the Hafnarfjörður Town Council, Strandgata 6, 2nd floor, on Saturday 5th May from 10:00 to 12:00, and will receive nomination lists.
The deadline for nominations for the local elections in Hafnarfjörður, to be held on Saturday, 26 May 2018, is Saturday, 5 May.
The Returning Officer will be based in the meeting room of Hafnarfjörður Town Council, Strandgata 6, 2nd floor, from 10:00 to 12:00, and will receive nomination lists. All nominations must be submitted in writing to the Returning Officer no later than 12:00 noon on that day.
The Electoral Commission will hold a meeting with representatives of the electoral lists at the same venue on Sunday, 6th May at 17:00 to decide on the candidacies and list symbols.
