Children's safety increased through robust education and training
The contracts between the sports clubs in Hafnarfjörður and the municipality include a clause requiring those working in the sports movement to attend a child protection course offered by the local authority. An agreement was made with Barnaheill to run this course this year, and an online course took place in mid-month. Nearly 70 staff members from the sports clubs took part.
