Hafnarborg's Advent Calendar – Where is Völundur?
The Harbour Museum is counting down the days to Christmas by showing the Christmas calendar 'Where is Völundur?' between 4 pm and 5 pm on all its opening days in December up to Christmas. Where is Völundur? is a Christmas calendar produced by RÚV in 1996 and has since become a classic. Unexpected Adventure and the House of Power
In the calendar, Felix and Gunni are looking for the smith, Völund, as he is the one who makes the good Christmas presents. During their search, the friends encounter unexpected adventures as they make their way through one maze after another. On their journey, they meet various villains who do their best to lead them into a dead end.
Children and families are especially welcome, but each episode will be shown and replayed daily between 4pm and 5pm. The museum is closed on Tuesdays, so two episodes will be shown on Wednesdays, and likewise two episodes will be shown on Christmas Eve. The screening takes place in a cosy side room on the upper floor of the museum. Admission to the museum is free.
