Cleaning of ritual sites
The City of Hafnarfjörður is calling on businesses, and their managers and staff, in Hafnarfjörður to look around their local area and get to work cleaning up within their premises. The contribution of every business makes a difference!
We all care about our environment and want the town of Hafnarfjörður to have a good appearance. This spring, a clean-up campaign was launched, encouraging everyone to take an active part. Now in September, we are particularly calling on businesses in Hafnarfjörður to clean up their local surroundings. An overall clean appearance affects customer experience and trade.
Let's make use of the service – containers for timber and iron
From 15th to 30th September, managers and staff of businesses in Hafnarfjörður are encouraged to take a look at their local surroundings and to give special attention to cleaning up within their own premises. Containers will be placed at three locations in Hafnarfjörður, primarily intended for the disposal of timber and iron from businesses in each respective area. The containers will be on site for two weeks – from Thursday, 15 September to Friday, 30 September. Businesses are particularly encouraged to make use of this service provided by the municipality. The City of Hafnarfjörður wishes to use this to improve the appearance of its industrial estates.
