Agreement signed on school and leisure transport
On Friday, 17th July, Rósa Guðbjartsdóttir, the Mayor, and Pálmar Sigurðsson from Hópbílar hf. signed a new contract for school and leisure transport, following a tender in which Hópbílar were the lowest bidder. The signing took place by the flower-adorned heart on Strandgata.

The contract includes school transport for the primary schools of Hafnarfjörður municipality, transport for primary school children in special units, and transport for the after-school clubs of Hafnarfjörður municipality. Particular attention is paid to the safety of passengers and drivers through the use of a quality management system for risk analysis and incident recording, followed by corrective action.
The contract period is from 2020 to 2024, with a provision to extend it twice for one year.
