Hafnarfjörður, my town – Culture Days at Áslandsskóli 2016

From the 14th to the 17th of March, Ásland School holds its Culture Days. During this time, the school's activities are varied in a number of ways. Hafnarfjörður, my town is the theme of the cultural days this time. Students are divided into groups where they work on a variety of projects. The usual timetable does not apply on these days.

On Thursday, 17th March, there will be an open house at Áslandsskóli from 12:00 to 17:00, featuring a showcase of the results of the cultural days and the students' work over the winter. There will be events in the school hall, including a performance of the musical by the Year 3 students. Do you believe in strange stories?. There will also be a café run by the Year 10s on the upper floor. Parents who are interested in coming along to help during the cultural days are very welcome.

The students and staff of Áslandsskóli hope to see as many people as possible on the day of the show, both to enjoy what will be on offer and to treat themselves to refreshments at the café run by the school's senior pupils.
