You're hired, Hafnarfjörður – join the Pride Parade
Diversity is the foundation of progress, and by celebrating it, we create a healthier society for all of us. Hafnarfjörður will take part in the highlight of Pride, the Pride Parade itself, where LGBTQ+ people unite in a call for a more colourful society. It will take place on Saturday, 12th August at 2 p.m.

The City of Hafnarfjörður celebrates diversity and will continue to pave the way towards full equality and respect. Hafnarfjörður will take part in the highlight of Pride, the Pride Parade itself, where LGBTQ+ people unite in a call for a more colourful society. It will take place on Saturday, 12th August at 2 p.m. Queer meet-ups in Hafnarfjörður The peer education of the Hafnarfjörður Summer School is organising the event and encourages residents, staff of the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður, and all interested parties to attend in large numbers and take part in the walk under the banner of the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður.
The walk will set off from the Technical College on Skólavörðuholt at 14:00, but for those wishing to walk with the Hafnarfjörður group, the meeting point is at 12:30. A limited supply of flags and decorations will be available on site, so it's first come, first served!
