Do you know of an individual in your local area, aged 18-40, who deserves recognition for their outstanding work?  Nominations are now open at www.framurskarandi.is and the deadline for nominations is 10 November. A special judging panel will then review the nominations and select 10 outstanding individuals for recognition.

Do you know someone who deserves a nomination?

Do you know someone in your local area, aged 18-40, who deserves recognition for their outstanding work? Someone who is tackling challenging and noteworthy projects? Someone who has excelled in their field, been a good role model and given back to the community. So why not nominate them, and who knows, they could join a great group of outstanding people. The JCI Iceland awards are, first and foremost, encouragement awards for young people who are tackling challenging and noteworthy projects.

Nominated in the following ten categories:

  1. Jobs in business, entrepreneurship and/or economics.
  2. Careers in politics, public administration and/or law.
  3. Leaders/achievements in the field of education.
  4. Cultural work/achievements.
  5. Work in the field of ethics and/or environmental issues.
  6. A contribution to children, world peace and/or human rights.
  7. Work in the field of humanitarian or voluntary work.
  8. Jobs in technology and science.
  9. Individual victories and/or achievements.
  10. Medical work/discoveries.

The deadline for nominations is 10 November.

Nominations are now open www.framurskarandi.is and the deadline for nominations is 10 November. A special jury will then review the nominations and select 10 outstanding individuals to be recognised. One of these individuals will then receive the Outstanding Young Icelandic Person 2024 award, presented by the President of Iceland, Halla Tómasdóttir, at a ceremony on 4 December at the Sugar Hall in Grósk.

Honour young people

With this event, we are honouring young people aged 18-40 for what they are doing. They are, first and foremost, an inspiration to young people who are tackling challenging and noteworthy projects. For the benefit of the community and all of us. These young people will have an impact on the future.
