Public Tenders
The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður invites tenders for electricity for the municipality. This covers all electricity consumption of the municipality and its institutions, as well as street lighting. The tender is advertised in the EEA area.
The energy consumption is registered to two identification numbers or:
- 590169-7579 City of Hafnarfjörður
- 590169-5529 Harbour of Hafnarfjörður
Usage figures are from 1 January to 31 December 2019.
- In 2019, the annual consumption was approx. 14.5 GWh.
- In 2019, there were a total of 207 energy meters with an annual consumption of 6.3 GWh.
- 20 remote metering sites with an annual consumption of 8.1 GWh
Tender documents are available from the contract administrator, Helga Stefánsdóttir (helgas@hafnarfjordur.is) or the tender administrator, Kolbrúnu Reinholdsdóttur (kolbrun.reinholdsdottir@efla.isTender submissions must be received by the Department of Environment and Planning, Norðurhöll 2, by 13:00 on Tuesday, 21 April 2020.
Tenders will be opened on the same day at the same place at 13:05, in the presence of those who wish to attend.
