🎨 Mirra Hjartardóttir is working on the design and development of an emotion game for children. Her aim is to promote a more open discussion among children about emotions, with the help of artworks she has created herself. Mirra will be at the Innovation Centre from 13:00 to 16:00, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the project and talk with the artist herself.
🎻 Thomas Vigur Magnusson This summer, he will lead the 'Fiddler's Delight' course for violin students aged 7–16 in Hafnarfjörður. Visitors to the Innovation Centre will have a welcome opportunity to hear Tómas perform in the Kubbur between 15:00 and 16:30.
🧚♀️ Kristín Birta Bjarkadóttir is a costume designer who is drawing her inspiration this summer from folklore and legends about elves. She is working on designing costumes that reflect the magical world of these works. Visitors can visit Birta and learn about the creative process at the Innovation Centre between 13:00 and 16:00.
🎧 Una Mist and Kristijonas Groblys A visual artist duo working on a musical project where they collect materials from their local environment in Hafnarfjörður. From these, they build their own instruments and create dreamlike music. They will be based in the Ritsmiðjan at Nýsköpunarsetrið from 13:00–16:00, where visitors can view their interactive installation.
