The Kaldár Run, a 10 km race in memory of Jóhannes J. Reykdal, will be held on Sunday, 15th December. The race starts from Kaldársel and finishes on Strandgatan. Grýla will present the first prizes for men and women, as well as ten draw prizes.

This year's run is in collaboration with the running groups Haukar and FH, who will be managing the course marshals. From the beginning, the Kaldárhlaup has been sponsored by Hópbílar, Fjarðarfréttir and the City of Hafnarfjörður. Runners meet at Hafnarfjörður Church at 12 noon and Hópbílar will drive them to Kaldársel. The run starts at 1 p.m. in the heart of Hafnarfjörður, where the Christmas Village is open and welcomes the runners.
