Saturday, 19 August, 1 pm - 3 pm Hafnarborg invites families to come and take part in creative web workshop in connection with the exhibition by Hildur Ásgeirsdóttir Jónsdóttir, On the sea of tranquillity, which is currently on display at the museum.

In the workshop, families have the opportunity to work together on their own tapestry artwork in the spirit of Hild. Participants will be taught how to create their own cardboard weaving cards, which they will also get to take home with them. The workshop is suitable for participants of all ages; no knowledge of weaving or artistic background is required. All materials will be provided. The workshop will be led by the visual artist Ingunn Fjóla Ingþórsdóttir.

The workshop takes place in the Pharmacy on the first floor of the museum, and children are advised to be accompanied by an adult. As usual, participation in the workshop is free of charge for visitors, as is admission to the museum's exhibitions. You are very welcome.
