The author Ása Marin reads from her book Meet me in Hellisgerði at Hellisgerði on Saturday, 23rd November at 2 p.m. The event is in collaboration with the Hafnarfjörður Library and the Christmas Town of Hafnarfjörður.
What is the book about? The book 'Meet Me in Hellisgerði' is a hilarious and romantic winter story. The plot is gripping and tells the story of how Christmas was ruined for Snjólaug. Her baby's father is going to be abroad with their daughter for three whole weeks over the festive period, and Snjólaug is facing a very lonely Christmas Eve. Then she has a brainwave: she's going to find love in time for the clock chime on the National Broadcasting Company.
This is not Ása Marin's first novel, but her fifth. In addition, she has written one novella and two poetry books.
