The Hafnarfjörður Forestry Society is hosting a family day in Höfðaskógur, at the Þöll nursery on Kaldárselsvegur, on Saturday, 24th June. Höfðaskógur and the area around Lake Hvaleyrarvatn is a unique outdoor recreational area in the back garden of Hafnarfjörður.
Available from 14:00-17:00
- Bouncy castle.
- Grilled food on offer from the house (also vegan)
- „Pop-up café. Free coffee and refreshments from Pallett Coffee Company.
- Face painting between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
- 14:30: Forest walk for those who wish to visit the forest. The guide is Jónatan Garðarsson. The walk takes about an hour and a half.
- 14:20: Scavenger hunt begins. Winners are drawn at 16:30.
- The art group from Hafnarfjörður's Summer School and Larpið are coming to visit.
- Haffi Haff is in charge of the music!
Parking: Please note that the car parks on the yard will be closed due to the bouncy castle and a large number of children. Please park at the gate or in the car park at the next turning at Þöll (a little further on), called Værðarstígur.
