Saturday, 15th April at 3 p.m. will Yara Zein, artist, to be with guidance in Arabic About the exhibition River mouth‎‎ýworlds with a focus on digital art, photography, moving image, realism and hyperreality.

The exhibition features works by six Icelandic and international contemporary artists who tackle ideas of reality and virtuality. Their works explore themes of disconnection, anxiety and the wry humour characteristic of the generation that now lives and moves within a new-media environment. Utilising digital means of expression, they highlight, among other things, the satire inherent in the stressful lifestyle of the 21st century.

Yara Zein (b. 1995) is a Lebanese artist based in Iceland. Yara has a background in architecture, design and visual art, holding a BA in Fine Art from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts in Beirut and an MFA in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University, England.
