Baby massage is a simple way to support well-being and bonding.

Did you know that with simple strokes and a targeted touch, you can support your child's well-being, development and sense of security?
In this informative and practical talk, parents will gain an insight into infant massage, a technique used worldwide to support bonding, calm, and well-being during the first months and years of a child's life. Research suggests that infant massage can, among other things, promote better sleep, help with digestive discomfort and tummy aches, as well as enhance communication and bonding between parents and their children.

The lecture will cover:

  • What infant massage is and what it is based on
  • The benefits for a child and parents
  • How to use massage in daily life
  • How to read your child's signals and adapt the moment to their needs

There will also be a short demonstration where parents will learn simple strokes for their child's legs and feet. If the child is asleep, wants to watch, or is not in the mood for a massage, parents can practise the strokes on specially designed massage dolls that will be available on site.
