Friday, 8 December at 6 p.m. We welcome you to the final Afternoon Tones of the year at Hafnarborg, where this time a trio led by Kristjana Stefánsdóttir will be performing. She will be joined by Birgir Steinn Theódórsson on double bass and Andrés Þór on guitar. The programme will feature jazz standards mixed with various Christmas tunes, making it the perfect way to lift your spirits with sweet and festive jazz tones during Advent.

Kristjana Stefánsdóttir She has been a leading musical artist in the field of Icelandic jazz for many years. Kristjana's first album was released in 1996, and she has now released well over a dozen albums, having been an artist with the Dimmu record label since 2006. In recent years, she has composed music for the theatre, most recently for the Shakespeare production Whatever you want, which was performed at the National Theatre in 2023, and for which she received a Gríma nomination for the music. Kristjana has likewise been nominated for the Icelandic Music Awards on numerous occasions and is a multiple Gríma Award winner.

The concert lasts for about an hour and is free of charge.
