Monday craft!
Craft time every Monday at your library! All materials provided, everyone in a good mood and endless fun. Come and be…
Historical costuming, cosplay, armour-making, prop-making – or just designing and creating your own clothing – we've come together to do something brilliant.
Have you always wanted an amazing costume? Do you watch all the Bernadette Banner videos on YouTube and follow everyone with #cosplay on all platforms?
Bridgerton dresses? Or are you a fan of Game of Thrones?
Is EVA foam terrifying? Are sewing machines at the pinnacle of impossibility? Rubbish. Anyone can make mistakes or kits.
We meet on Tuesdays, work, chat, and have fun. There's a mentor on hand who's brilliant at figuring things out, and we share knowledge and experience – because everyone starts somewhere and everyone deserves to create.
Sewing machines and all the necessary supplies will be provided. There will be help with patterns and proper tables for cutting fabric (no more living room floors!), as well as happiness and company. Please note that participants must bring their own fabric and idea. This workshop is not suitable for young children.
The workshop is part of a series of events in preparation for Heima and Himingeimi 2026.
