A true cultural festival will take place at Hafnarborg on 9 April. It will be announced which Hafnarfjörður resident will receive the title of Artist of the City of Hafnarfjörður for 2026, and cultural grants and grants from the building conservation fund will be presented.

The ceremony is open to all and begins at 5 p.m. in the main hall of Hafnarborg.
