In my view: Shadow Theatre – a multilingual storytelling workshop
On Sunday 11 October from 1 pm to 3 pm, Hafnarborg and GETA are hosting a multilingual storytelling workshop where participants will create characters and tell…
Wednesday, 16 August at 8 p.m. will the artist Lukas Bury lead a guided walk in Polish of the international sculpture park in Víðistaðatún, which was established in 1991 in connection with the Art Festival in Hafnarfjörður. Many of the works on the lawn were, in fact, created during an international sculptors' workshop held in connection with the festival in 1991 and again in 1993. These works also form a large part of the collection of outdoor art for Hafnarborg and the City of Hafnarfjörður. The walk will start from Víðistaðakirkja.
The City of Hafnarfjörður is offering cultural and health walks every Wednesday evening this summer. Most of the walks take about an hour and start at 8 p.m., unless otherwise stated. The Cultural and Health Walks are a joint project by Hafnarborg, the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum, the Hafnarfjörður Library and Healthy Hafnarfjörður. Participation is free and everyone is welcome.
