Come and enjoy a cosy storytelling session with us, where there will be a reading from The Coconut Contest, the first reader from the Evolytes fantasy world. The Coconut Contest, after Iris E. Gísladóttir, is a fun and exciting story for children aged 5 to 9.
Logi and Stampi are best friends, but when friends start to compete, all sorts of things can happen. Both are convinced they have more coconuts than the other. But who is right? In this fun story, children follow the friends' adventures while they learn to understand numbers and compare quantities in a natural and playful way.
The story sparks curiosity, encourages independent thinking and creates enjoyable moments together. At the back of the book are simple questions to support understanding and encourage good discussions after reading.
