Þriðjudaginn 3. febrúar kl. 12 bjóðum við ykkur velkomin á næstu hádegistónleika í Hafnarborg en þá verður Alda Ingibergsdóttir, sópran, gestur Antonia Hevesi, píanóleikara og listræns stjórnanda tónleikaraðarinnar.

Alda Ingibergsdóttir er fædd og uppalin í Hafnarfirði. Hún lauk einsöngvaraprófi frá Söngskólanum í Reykjavík og fór síðan í framhaldsnám við Trinity College of Music í London, þaðan sem hún útskrifaðist með „Fellowship Diploma“. Meðal hlutverka Öldu eru Pamina í The Magic Flute, Lillian Russell í The Mother of Us All eftir Virgil Thomson, fyrsti andi í The Magic Flute, Dísa í Galdra-Lofti Jóns Ásgeirssonar, Næturdrottningin í The Magic Flute, Arzena í Sígaunabaróni Strauss, Helena fagra í samnefndri óperu Offenbachs og káta ekkjan í samnefndri óperettu Lehárs. Þá hefur Alda haldið tónleika víða og komið fram sem einsöngvari ásamt Sinfóníuhljómsveit Íslands og Tufts Symphony Orchestra í Boston.

Antonia Hevesi, a pianist, has been the artistic director of the lunchtime concerts at Hafnarborg since their inception, and they have been a regular feature of the museum's programme since 2003. There, Antonía has been joined by many of the country's leading singers, with the aim of the concerts being to give visitors the opportunity to enjoy live music at their leisure. The lunchtime concerts are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month during the winter season.

The concert starts at 12 noon and will last for about half an hour. The venue opens at 11:30 am and the concert is open to all, subject to capacity. Admission is free.
