This time, the Christmas Heart of Hafnarfjörður is split between 35 screenings of Jóla Hólm at the Bæjarbíó and a festive marquee in the courtyard behind the cinema. The screenings are long sold out, but there will be a real Advent atmosphere in the tent, with Christmas decorations to delight the eye. Every Friday and Saturday, a food truck will be outside the tent, making it the ideal spot for mums and dads, grandparents, and groups of friends to come along, grab a bite to eat and a festive drink.

Open every weekend until Christmas.

The Christmas Heart of Hafnarfjörður and the Christmas tent behind the Bæjarbíó are open and will remain open. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 pm to 10 pm every weekend until Christmas. Older members of the family are encouraged to come to the marquee and enjoy the company of their peers during Advent in the heated marquee.  Hot and cold drinks, combined with the extremely warm and friendly welcome from the staff at Bæjarbíó. Wingman will have a food truck next to the tent on Friday and Saturday.  Plenty of tables and benches are available for visitors and passers-by who want to sit down after a successful Christmas shopping trip and enjoy a Christmas burger and a refreshing drink, mulled wine or hot chocolate for adults, while cosy Christmas music plays in the tent. Blankets are available for those who come to the tent while stocks last!
