Course description:

The course 'Well-being in Daily Life' will introduce and work with positive psychology techniques that generally achieve good results in increasing well-being. The theory and research behind these methods are briefly reviewed, but the emphasis is on participants getting practice in applying the methods to their own lives.

The course is an opportunity to:

  • Learn ways to increase life satisfaction, that is, to foster positive feelings and thoughts in daily life.
  • Map your strengths and learn about the importance of recognising and developing them.
  • Improve your mindset and self-perception, thereby strengthening your self-esteem.
  • Learn about and develop self-compassion, as there is a strong correlation between self-compassion and life satisfaction.
  • To familiarise themselves with the basic elements of mindfulness and practise it both during the course and outside of it to the best of their ability.
  • Try and evaluate which methods suit you best by trying them out for yourself.
  • Increase self-awareness.
  • Adopt habits that empower you.
  • Gain greater peace of mind.
  • Identify ways that help you to better cope with the challenging everyday, and thus experience increased well-being.
Participants will be sent a more detailed description of the course programme for all three days.
