Information sessions about K-PALS and G-PALS for multilingual families
Parents of children of foreign origin in Year 1 and Year 2 are invited to information meetings about new reading methods, K-PALS and G-PALS, which are being introduced in the primary schools of Hafnarfjörður.
The meetings will cover how the reading methods support children's learning to read, and how parents can monitor and support their children's learning. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get more information about reading instruction in the schools.
The meetings are intended for parents of children in Year 1 and Year 2 from all primary schools in Hafnarfjörður and will be held at Hraunvallaskóli.
