Multicultural Festival of GETU – a charity organisation
GETA – a charity is hosting a multicultural festival on the square in front of the library. Guests will be invited to sample a variety of food from some of the countries the organisation's volunteers come from, such as Venezuela, Ukraine, Nigeria, Palestine and Syria. Traditional Icelandic waffles with cream will also be on sale.
The aim of the event is to celebrate both national culture and multiculturalism, diversity and new customs as well as old ones.
