Proposal at the draft stage for an amendment to the 2013–2025 Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður concerning out-leases
At a meeting of the Planning and Building Committee on 21 March 2024, it was approved that the proposal for an amendment to the 2013–2025 Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður concerning allotments be advertised. At a meeting of the Hafnarfjörður Town Council on 10 April, the proposal was approved. An open house will be held on Tuesday, 7th May from 11 am to 1 pm at Norðurhellu 2, 221 Hafnarfjörður, where you can familiarise yourself with the proposals for changes to the Hafnarfjörður Master Plan regarding the Coda Terminal project. Eight industrial areas are designated for offshore sites for the injection and sequestration of carbon dioxide (CO2). Answers to questions regarding this planning proposal will be available from the Department of Environment and Planning.
