11 November is the most important national holiday in Poland. On this day, we commemorate the anniversary of our country regaining its independence after 124 years of occupation by foreign powers. But does every child know why? What should your child know about this holiday? We will try to answer these and other questions on 19 November 2021 at 13:00 at the Public Library in Hafnarfjörður. For the umpteenth year running, the Public Library in Hafnarfjörður is taking part in the celebrations of Poland's Independence Day. It's a wonderful opportunity to tell children about the history of their country.

A vocal performance by five and six-year-olds from the Polish Saturday Nursery School „PERSONA“.“
