A new health-promoting project for people aged 60 and over in FH
Frísk in FH is a health-promoting project for individuals aged 60 and over. The activities of Frísk in FH will be based around group training, where participants will have the opportunity to exercise in a fun, social setting under the guidance of professionally qualified trainers.
Targeted and organised training
This is a targeted and organised training programme where coaches prepare 6-week training plans, which they adapt to the ability of each individual participant. The training sessions will focus on strength, endurance, flexibility and balance exercises. Equally, emphasis will be placed on mental and social well-being, and all activities will be conducted with this guiding principle in mind. Training sessions will take place twice a week before midday on Wednesdays and Fridays at the FH gym in Kaplakriki.

An information meeting will be held in the FH Banqueting Hall (Sjónarhóll) on Wednesday, 21 February, where the activities will be presented and you will be able to register. See event here.
