Tuesday, 12th May, 7-9 pm Guided meditation will be offered. Jennyar Huldu- Aradóttur, which is also known as Ravi, among the works of Ragna Fróða at the exhibition Echo. Through meditation, chanting, drums and tones, Ravi will invite guests on an inner journey, inspired by Ragna's art and the magic of the forest. It is recommended that guests bring a cushion and a blanket to make themselves comfortable in the space.

In the exhibition, Ragna Fróða invites us into a magical world of patterns, colours, shapes and textures. Ragna's world is at once familiar and foreign, nostalgic and innovative. The starting point for the works in the exhibition is ink drawings, created in a flow state and in direct dialogue between the subconscious and the hand. Through a multi-layered working process, the uninhibited line from the handmade drawing is transformed into digitally embroidered works that appear on the border between the abstract and the figurative. Ragna's work is about the creative process itself – the interplay of colours, textures and narratives inherent in the patterns and symbols of the textile. By combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technology, Ragna seeks to expand the boundaries of craft, textile design and fine art.

Jenny Huldu-Aradóttir has been studying pedagogy, yogic philosophy and shamanic studies for decades, seeking to integrate different approaches into a single whole. She has travelled the world, meeting diverse cultural groups and teachers from various backgrounds who share a common commitment to supporting humanity during times of transformation. Ravi has recently returned from the Amazon rainforest, where she spent eleven months with the indigenous Huni Kuin tribe. There, she had the unique opportunity to connect with the ancient wisdom of the forest and to live and learn with a people who have been called the guardians and messengers of the natural world. Ravi has, in recent years, dedicated her work, study and life to building communities that honour nature, its wisdom, and the spirit that is all around and within.

Free admission – all are welcome.
