In my view: Shadow Theatre – a multilingual storytelling workshop
On Sunday 11 October from 1 pm to 3 pm, Hafnarborg and GETA are hosting a multilingual storytelling workshop where participants will create characters and tell…
Singing Festival at Hafnarborg will be held for the eighth time on 15–30 June 2024. The festival is dedicated to classical music, poetry, opera and choral singing, but this year's theme for the Song Festival is „Deepest Bliss and Heavy Sorrow“. The festival aims to honour classical vocal music and to increase public awareness of the art of the voice through concerts and workshops.
This year's Song Festival at Hafnarborg will feature eight concerts with outstanding singers and musicians, as well as courses for children and adults, amateurs and professionals alike. The founders and directors of the Song Festival are mezzo-soprano Guðrún Jóhanna Ólafsdóttir and guitarist Francisco Javier Jáuregui.
