Our Classic takes place for the tenth time in Eldborg, Harpa, on Friday 29 August at 20:00, in collaboration with RÚV.
To mark the occasion, many swimming pools across the country are hosting the 'Sinfó in the Pool' event, with a live broadcast of the concert from the swimming venues.
Our classic concert is this time entitled – Songs of Life. The concert features many of our foremost singers performing music related to the various ceremonies and events of our lives; from melancholy evening songs to cheerful comic songs.
Soloists are Dísella Lárusdóttir, Eggert Reginn Kjartansson, GDRN, Ólafur Kjartan Sigurðarson
Pálmi Gunnarsson, Rebekka Blöndal and Valdimar Guðmundsson. The choir Fílharmónía will also be performing. Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason will be conducting and the presenters are Halla Oddný Magnúsdóttir and Guðni Tómasson.

Our classic will glide over the waters in the country's lakes and Ásvallalaug is among the swimming spots taking part in the fun!
We will be open until 22:30 for this occasion and FREE Swimming from 7 pm! Come for a swim!
