Ásvallalaug will be open late and will offer a fun programme on the Night of the Swimming Pool on Thursday, 1 February, from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Visitors to Ásvallalaug will get to experience a unique evening where light, darkness and joy will reign supreme.

• 7:30 pm and 9 pm – Bomb competition – Who can get the biggest gush?
• 8 pm – Open training session with the Gorpar at Hafnarfjörður Swimming Club
• 8 pm – Bingo with Eva Ruzu

Swimming will be free at Ásvallalaug from 18:00 to 22:00 and in many swimming pools in the capital region. Swimming Pool Night is part of the Winter Festival – www.vetrarhatid.is – which is taking place from 1st to 3rd February. All municipalities in the capital region are taking part in the festival. The events in the swimming pools will be of a diverse nature, and visitors will get to experience a unique and unusual evening in the magical darkness.
