Every year, as December approaches and darkness falls over the town, a special tradition is brought to new life at the Innovation Centre by the Stream. Then, precious Christmas pictures created by former pupils of the Stream School decades ago are brought out.

You are most welcome to a festive occasion when the Christmas lights are switched on at the Innovation Centre by the Stream, the old Lækjó, on 28 November at 16:00.

There will be a cosy atmosphere, music, hot chocolate, and Father Christmas might drop by.

The Education Centre is open from 9 am to 10 pm every weekday.
The activities of the Education Centre are as follows:
The Innovation Centre is open 9 am–7 pm every day, and the youth centre Hreiðrið, along with Music by the Stream, is open from 2 pm–10 pm every weekday.
