Filmmaker and director Gunnar Björn Guðmundsson will, in the coming days, visit all Year 8 pupils in the primary schools of Hafnarfjörður to talk about filmmaking and discuss the working process with them.

Hafnarfjarðar and discuss the making of films, talk to students and discuss
the working process in filmmaking. During his visit, Gunnar will talk about his work.

film-making and understanding of

Gunnar Björn has worked in theatre, television and film.
for over two decades. Gunnar Björn has, among other things, directed the New Year's Eve sketch show,
television programmes about Ævar the Scientist and the films Astrópía, Gauragangur and now
most recently Ömmu Hófi, which was largely filmed in Hafnarfjörður and premiered in
Town cinema.
